| Even in those hectic days, there is fulfillment knowing that you are doing what you were meant to do! I think that is the best part of a job. To let you know, as much as I miss being a full-time reporter, I am finally finding peace in my new job. Friday, I walked into a school and these three girls yelled, “Miss Lacey.” They ran over and hugged me like I was a long lost friend. The children are beginning to recognize me and I love that. I was dancing with kindergarteners on Friday. It was ever silly, but it blessed my soul and reminded me of why I applied for this job in the first place – the kids! It’s not about the meaningless tasks that I don't like. It’s about the wonderful children that I am promoting. I get to positively promote some of the brightest, most talented children around! I get paid to dance with kindergarteners! That is a wonderful feeling. It’s a much needed boost of confidence in this job. I know that I am brilliant, creative and talented, but when I walked into these doors and faced so many challenges to start, I began to doubt myself. But, I can do this. And, I will do this. It’s not about me, but rather it’s about the doors that God has opened up for me. It’s my attitude that needed changing, and it took three girls and a group of kindergarteners to set me straight. Praise the Lord for small blessings in the midst of heartache. |

For those who care, things in my little world are good. I work alot, but I am enjoying it most days. Some days I wish I were the CEO of a big company, but I would settle for ruler of the world. :) Love you guys! |

| I love this weather. It is my favorite time of year. I spent a few hours on the porch swing today and it was oh so nice. I am hoping that I get off work early enough to do the same tomorrow. Did I mention that I love this weather. |
